About Next Steps Therapy Center
We are a multidisciplinary child development centre in Chennai. Our occupational therapists, speech and language therapists, physiotherapists, special educators and behaviour therapists work under one roof, so your child is supported as a whole child rather than one difficulty at a time.
We work together with children, parents, caregivers, schools and other professionals across Chennai to provide consistent and meaningful support.
Our mission
Next Steps Therapy Center exists to help children reach their full potential, one achievable goal at a time. We provide coordinated ABA, speech-language, occupational, and physical therapy for kids with developmental and physical disabilities, including autism, ADHD, cerebral palsy, and Down syndrome, grounded in evidence-based practice and shaped by each child's own interests and pace. We partner closely with families throughout, because the skills our kids build here are only as valuable as how well they carry into home, school, and the wider world.
Our approach
Every child has unique strengths, abilities and developmental needs. Following consultation, assessment and observation, we develop an Individualised Education Plan (IEP) or personalised therapy plan with clear, measurable goals.
- Child-centred and family-focused
- Evidence-based and goal-oriented
- Play-based and developmentally appropriate
- Collaborative and multidisciplinary
- Focused on independence and everyday participation
